Musée National du Moyen Ages—Thermes de Cluny

Paris's Museum of the Middle Ages is located in some ancient Roman ruins

The Musée du Moyen Age is gorgeously installed in the evocative remains of a bathhouse built almost 2,000 years ago during the city’s Roman era.

The museum's collections are fairly modest in size, but quite exquisite, esepcially the series of lovely Romanesque and Gothic sculptures, the well-preserved stained-glass windows, and the famous "Lady and the Unicorn" tapestries from the 15th century.
