The Venice tourist offices
Venice has tourist offices at the airport and train station, but the main one is in a small buidling tucked into the back of the Giardinetti Reali, a miniscule park wedged between Piazza San Marco and the Grand Canal. It's kind of hidden; walk past the Palazzo Ducale toward the two columns where all the gondolas are lined up, bobbing in the water, then turn right to walk through souvenir stalls to the office. It helps that the new San Marco–Giardinetti Reali vaporetto stop is located here. For more info, visit www.turismovenezia.it.
