If you're visiting only Florence, this is your guide. Pulled from the pages of Frommer's Tuscany & Umbria, this guide covers all there is in Florence sightseeing and attractions, hotels and dining.
The book covers all price brackets, from $1,500 suites at a converted hillside monastery partly built by Michelangelo to $60 doubles in a pensione filled with tattreered baroque art and overseen by a Welsh ex-pat who brings you breakfast in bed. (To be fair, most tend towards that pensione's category, but if you've got the means to splurge, you'll find those choices as well.)
Actually, this little pocket-size guide includes some material that had to be cut from the Tuscany book for space reasons, so if you want full coverage, this little baby's your best bet.
