La Garduña

A fabulous restaurant by the main food market of Barcelona

Garduña might very well be shut down by a single, well-timed visit from the health inspector, but this little, oddly modern-looking eatery remains the classic restaurant among those that cling around the edges of La Boquería market (it used to be actually in the market itself).

If not the best food in town, it’s certainly among the most atmospheric places to eat—with some of the freshest meat, fish, and produce around, natrually—and the prices can are pretty low, with fixed-price menus from €13 to €15.
