TK Italian artist architect

Ammannati, Bartolomeo (1511-92) - Florentine mannerist architect—the extension of the Palazzo Pitti and Ponte Santa Trìnita (whose design he partially cribbed, as was his wont, from Michelangelo)—and considerably less talented sculptor, including the "waste of marble " Neptune fountain on Florence's Piazza della Signoria.
