Bordewijk restaurant

A moderately-priced nouvelle French restaurant in the Jordaan district of Amsterdam

The setting may be starkly modern, but the food is richly textured and tastefully French, with modern accents and Italian and Asian twists.

The service is attentive but not overbearing, and the menu changes constantly, but may include rib roast in a Bordelais sauce or red mullet with wild spinach.

An outdoor terrace on the canal makes summertime meals here even more attractive.
