Planning that trip to Europe, from getting information, choosing guidebooks, and burshgin up on your Berlitz phrases to passports, packing lists, insurance questions, and learning to travel in a time of terrorism
I'm not going to sugarcoat it: this is the most boring aspect of travel. But the planning stages are also terribly important, because a few minutes of planning beforehand can save you hours of agony—not to mention dozens of dollars—once you're on the road.
